Nonel nonelectric delay detonator ms 1.4b units consists of a length of orange shock tube,with a standard number 8 detonator attached to one end and the other end sealed. A white j-hook is affixed near the sealed end, providing easy means of connection to detonating cord. Easy to read color coded delay tags display the delay number and nominal firing time prominently. The shock tube is a small diameter 3mm outer diameter laminated plastic tube internally coated with approximately 14.6 grams of a reactive material per pound per 100,000 feet.
