A trailer designed to load live, linked ammunition into an aircraft weapon system, and to simultaneously download spent cartridges and links. It is also used to transport ammunition from the storage area to the aircraft. It is used in conjunction with one or more of the following: conveyor chain; feeder tube; ammunition chutes and bins; linker-delinker and loadhead. Excludes truck (1), ammunition loading-transporting and trailer (1), ammunition.
Options can be exercised as to specific method of preservation or dod approved packaging materials to be used. however, basic preservation method shall be retained, supplemental data shall be complied with, and unit package dimensions shall not be increased by more than one inch. equal or better protection shall be given the item and there shall be no increase in the package cost.
