About this product
The tactical harness shall accommodate dog with spines from 11 to 18 inches in length. The chest strap, in combination with the saddle piece, shall be adjustable to accommodate chests from 24 to 32 inches around just behind the shoulderblades, and abdomens from 17 to 27 inches around just forward of the pelvis. The fore-chest adjustment shall provide a range of 13 to 22 inches from the center of the chest below the tip of the shoulder blade around the shoulders and chest to the corresponding point on the opposite side. Harness adjustable to larger and/or smaller sizes in addition to the specified ranges are acceptable.

General Description:
The harness shall be designed and constructed to fit around the dog's torso and provide the handler a means to manually lift the dog and/or to carry the dog without restricting the dog's breathing or range of leg movement. The harness shall provide a means to lift and to carry the dog upright in a balanced manner. The harness shall conform to the body of the dog in such a manner that it will remain on the dog withour twisting or shifting position when subjected to the full range of forces imparted in all directions to the harness handles and attachment points by the dog and handler. The harness shall be capable of withstanding the dynamic loads imparted by stoping a moving mass having kinetic energy of at least 120 foot-pounds without failure or damage.
