A replaceable device in roll form designed to remove dust, pollen or other foreign matter from the air passing through it. The removal of particles is accomplished by porous, fibrous or shredded material (metallic or non-metallic) which is loosely woven or matted and mounted on a spool or hollow core roll. It is designed to fit into air conditioners, ventilation systems, hot air furnaces, and the like. When installed, itis drawn from one spool to another through an intake opening in a panel or the like.
