A portable, cylindrical metal item, with a hinged cover. It contains a perforated metal dasher (fire baffle) mounted on a vertical coil spring. It is used for cleaning small parts with flammable or other solvent liquids. The cover may have a metal stand attached to the top so that the cover, when fully opened, may be used for holding parts during the drying process. See also degreaser and safety can.
