A washer of various shapes having a centrally located hole. It is primarily used as a seat for a bolt or screw to distribute pressure and has a sealing element. It may be used in connection with metallic washers to which it can be bonded.
Packing shall be accomplished to meet the performance test requirements of astm-d4169, distribution cycle 18, assurance level 1.
