General Description:
The unit is the transmitter portion of the antenna-transceiver unit.It is located inside the transceiver enclosure.The unit consists of two major subassemblies, the amplifier-high voltage subassy and the low voltage subassy.The amplifier-high voltage subassy is located on the fwd side of the trailerand the low voltage subassy is locatedalong the curb side of the unit.The components which comprise the amp-hv subassy are mounted on a 56.25 in.L by 24.13 in.Height panel.The components which comprise the lv subassy are mounted on a 28.13 in.L by 24.13 in.Height panel.The unit generates electrical signals of specified frequency and form togenerate electromagnetic waves when applied to the antenna
