The ve-12 enclosure (p/n 110001-1) is a rack-mounted, stand-alone enclosure, that houses one or two multiple rate voice card (mrvc); the enclosure provides the necessary ac or dc power conversion to operate the mrvc; the ac voltage is connected via an iec socket/power entry module that contains integral on/off switch, fuse, and emi line filter; an internally mounted ring voltage generator provides the necessary 100 vrms, 20 hz, ringing signal to support the fxs interfaces
