This item replaces p/n: 17g910020-1 which cannot be retrofitted.Survivalkit is packed under the raft in the rigid container & secured to the raft bya container attachment strap.Survival kit contains packets of food, water cans, communication equip, medical supplies& raft repair items.The packing container equals the external dimensions of the nylon survival kitbag.The kit is placed in packing container then survival equip is arranged properly into three separate layers.When bag is full a vacuum is applied to further secure contents.After sealing the zippered opening the kit can be removed from the packing container and loaded into the rigid container for life raft which is then placed against the upper fuselage of the cargo bay area in three different locations: two forward and one aft.Used with p/n: 17g910021-501 & 17g910026-1.Case finish, gray paint.
