Functional Description:
Dual system, combining vhf-115 to 144 mhz and uhf-225 to 399.975 mhz with simultaneous operation as required, allowing one vhf channel and one uhf channel to be monitored at the same time; system provides air traffic control personnel with an accurate, visual indication of the azimuth bearing to aircraft transmitting on vhf or uhf radio; information can be utilized to identify aircraft on radar displays, and to assist pilots in navigation; vhf display control unit includes 12-pushbutton frequency channel selector switch; uhf display control unit employs a 24-position pre-programmable rotary channel selecector switch and a 7000-channel thumbwheel selector switch; both have led digital readout and led vector display
