General Description:

Ram air turbine is mounted on the nose section of the store; it is a propeller type ram air driven power source for the hydraulic pump; the turbine has a mechanical feature which governs its speed from 3600 to 5000 rpm; turbine has four symmetrically arranged blade assemblys powering a common shaft; an external spline mates with the hydraulic pump; six threaded turbine studs provide mounting through the nose section casting and hydraulic pump
