2 line, common battery, desk-type touchtone, modular telephone. Transmission features and external appearance same as 2500 type sets except for key located on front of housing. Dial sets are arranged to suppress dialing induction into radio receiving sets. Equipped with combined turn-pushbutton key for switching and signaling. 6-conductor mounting cord which permits 2-line pickup and signaling as basic feature. The ringer provides for manual control in four steps without removing the housing and is so arranged that by removing the housing and making a minor adjustment, the ringer can be silenced.
