Item engages three removal lobes on the no. 2 aft seal retainer. Impact action will then pull the retainer and assembled no. 2 aft carbon seal from bearing support against the friction of the packing without removing the fan turbine module. These are components of the front frame and no. 1 and no. 2 sump module
