Gage assembly, shim checking; a cylindrical base, the base is counterbored and sized to fit over the end of the main shaft, a sliding tab is attached to the base w/a small fingerscrew, the screw restrains the tab from sliding, functioin to measure-protrusion of shaft to determine amount of shims required to obtain a build dimension of 0.560 porm 0.005. Operation, install gage on main shaft, adjust tab upwards to contact underside of shroud flange, lock arm in place, measure and record dimension, size 2 in. Dia. X 3 in.
