Mfg name is multifunction acoustic calibrator. Operates on four 1.5 volt alkaline batteries, or ni-cd cells iec lr6, also has a battery low led. Included items are 1/2" microphone adaptor p/n dp 0681, 1/4" microphone adaptor p/n dp0781, 2.5mm mini jack plug 2ea. P/n jp0213, 4 ea. Alkaline batteries, instruction manual. Some of the uses are calibration and comprehensive check of 1/2" and 1/4"microphone set-ups and acoustic instruments complying with iec651 and ansis 1.4-1983 such as sound level meters, dose meters ect also checks of filter sets and other frequency-dependent instruments.Frequency range tones from31.5hz to 16khz in octave steps, plus tone at12.5khz
