C/o of 3 sub-components: mef rhino armor gun shield kit, standard transparent armor gun shield (tags) kit & the lvs & m1a1 adapter kit; when installed they form the equivalent of a manually rotated, open topped, armored traverse cupola offering enhanced situational awareness and target acquisition for the gunner; provides 360 degrees protection from small arms fire; protects gunner from rocks/debris; mef rhino armor gun shield kit c/o 4 transparent ballistic windows, armor shields, 3 steel plate assemblies, and brackets that assemble into a ballistic shield surrounding the machine gun and providing a safe barrier; adapter kit c/o unique parts needed to mount the mef rhino armor gun shield kit to the lvs or m1a1 traverse ring; lvs & m1a1 may be equipped with one of 3 different gun mounts (pintle/yoke): m2, mk64, or mk93; standard tags kit c/o all parts required to mount the standard tags to any one of the 3 gun mounts
