Used to remove and replace the swashplate assembly for maintenance; a device to attach a hoist for lifting the 75 pound swashplate assembly on and off the rotor mast; sling design consists of pear link that interfaces with standard hoisting hook, two clevises attached to the pear link each support a pair of cable legs, a thimble eye is swaged at the lower end of each cable providing an interface with the swashplate, then the four cable eyes fit between four pair of lugs machined on the outside of the swashplate at 90 degrees, four quick release pins attach the cables between the swashplate lugs, and the quick release pins are held captive to the sling legs by small cable lanyards to prevent loss
