Special Features:
The packing assembly shall be packaged together as shown in envelops fabricated from material in accordance with mil-prf-121, type i and heat sealed. A fiberboard stiffener shall be added in each package to prevent the seals from distortion in the package. Each packaged envelope shall be placed into a fiberboard container in accordance with astm d1974. Each packaged container shall be identified with nawc cage code, contract number, cure date and shelf life. Expiration date iaw sae a547b-37. Shelf life expiration date shall be 60 quarters (15 years) past the cure date of the "e" or "f" packing, which ever is earliest
