Functional Description:
The design of this test set, designated "malts" is to provide capabilityto test and troubleshoot all the electrical aspects of airfield lighting systems. Malts is designed to test all lamps, lamp fixtures, isolation transformers, shielded and unshielded cables, and current regulators as well as other minor components of airfield lighting systems. All test set components rely oninternal batteries for all their powerrequirements. All components are housed in a transit case which is approximately 36 in. Lg., 18 in. Wd. & 18 in.Deep.The complete test set weights approximately 80 lbs
