Actual material for shaft is stainless steel per astm a564 (heat treatment condition shall be h1100). Actual material for the gear is aluminum bronze per astm 8150. Gear and shaft are to be purchased as a set. Gear requires helical pattern ultrasonic specification testing. Note: if gear is 8 or 10 inches it will have 60 teeth
