Special Features:
The saawf provides a work site for the sector air defense coordination to manage the execution of the air defense plan in his assigned sector. The saawf consists of eight cots computers connected via an ethernet backbone to the saawf server assemblies (ssa). The ssa interfaces with an an/tyq-2 (v)4, taom via an ethernet connection over fiber optic and a connection to the ddb/vcb. These components provide the capability to receive, process, and display tactical data link (tdl) data as well as modes and codes of an aircraft.
