Item is used for training of aircrew members in the use and operation of the an/prc90-2 survival radio, it is specifically designed to operate on frequencies (251.9 mhz & 236.0 mhz) rather than those utilized and reserved for rescue operations, (243.0 mhz & 282.8 mhz), this radio is similar to an/prc90-2 survival radio, with the exception of the transmitting frequencies and is yellow in color to designate item is for training use only
