The 942a single mode optical losstest set (smolts) is a 1300-nm unit used to measure end-to-end loss on single mode fiber paths. Loss measurements are shown digitally on the front panelalso provides a stablized 2khz modulated source that mey be used in conjunction with the 935a lsam and the 836a fiber indentifier receiver.
