The bb-490 is no longer supported or supplied by dod. If required for an uninterruptible power suppl (ups), you should call the ups vendor for battery replacement or purchase a new system that uses standard dod bb-390 and/or bb-2590. If your requirement is to be used for power radios or other equipment, the bb-2590 may be used as a suitable substitute (nsn: 6140-01-490-4316) . For futher assistance, contact cecom item manager.
