Functional Description:

This radar set is the complete air traffic control, navigation, integrated and coordination system (atnavics). The atnavics system is a complete radar approach control system. It provides 2 controller consoles and ground to air and ground to ground communication. The asr and ssr provide 25 nmi coverag e. The par provides 10 nmi coverage. The atnavics system is mounted on 2 hmmwv and 2 trailers. It is transportable in a c-130 aircraft and can be configured in 1 hour. The system can run on gfe supplied tactical quiet generators.
