Commercial off-the-shelf (cots) aquatics training device (atd) to facilitate mandated training for 160th soa (a) regimental aircrews and selected personnel for qualification and refresher emergency underwater egress training, emergency breathing systems and water survival training . Iaw ar 95-1. Trains a/mh-6, mh-60 and mh-47 egress under a wide range of environmental and operational conditions. Atd mets is a suite of cots training devices consisting of the following 5 components 1. Mets model 40 (reconfigurable vestibule for mh-60/mh-47 aircraft) 2. Mets model m-3 (vestibule representative of a/mh-6 aircraft). 3. Smartjib lifting device (advanced jib crane). 4. Dynamic environmental effects (dee) (simulates environmental conditions) 5. Hyperbaric system (provides breathing air to support training)
