Accomplishes this extended range by transforming the normal interface signal to a balanced current or voltage line signal. Signal is then transmitted through the cable to the remote terminal, where a cable receiver converts the balanced line signal back to the desired standard interface; terminal interface through 16 coax connectors, grid interface through 16 twinax connectors; power requirements: 115 volts ac, + or - 10 percent; 50-60 hz; less than 12 ampere; 3-5/8 in.
