The cm2nd circuitry is housed in a protective cover on which the system operating instructions are listed; the cm2nd is capable of stand alone operation in the event of loss of communication with the network master controller; optional regenerative software permits mutiple cm2nd that remain connected to each other to communicate and function in the event of a master network failure or loss of communications
