Part Information
The t-45 wing is assembled onto the fuselage as one complete unit and is attached by six bolts. The wing maybe removed in order to perform certain maintenance actions, such as, repair of fuel, hydraulics or electrical problems occuring at the interface between the wing and fuselage. After repairs have been made, it is necessary to leak check the wing fuel system to insure that no fuel leak will go uncorrected before installing the wing onto the aircraft. In order to perform these leak checks, it is necessary to close off the fuel and sing approved methodsagavgspecial tool and support equipment
