The joint threat warning system ground sigint kit, an/prd-14, provides situational awareness and threat avoidance. Information derived from received signals of interest can be analyzed by the operator and relayed to team members as necessary. The an/prd-14 includes the software and hardware that comprise a manpackable system (mps) and a body worn system (bws). Both the mps and bws utilize several common items: controller modules, receiver modules, and tuner modules. The mps includes: power conditioner base unit, ethernet module, operators control unit, and special signal processor with associated antennas (flexmaster, long wire, gps, and direction finding). The bws includes the base unit, wrist display/controller, and df subsystem with associated cordless headset/recorder, earpieces, batteries and cables
