Part Information
The ch-47f tfps is contained in two 14x28 foot containers, that when complexed together, occupy a 28x28 foot footprint; the device is designed to withstand a 164 knot wind when tied down to a concrete slab; the device requires a two 200 amps, 60 hertz supplies to power the device and provide the device and provided environmental control units; the ecu's will support operation between -40c and 54c; the enclosure is light tight to support night vision goggle (nvg) operation; the ch-47f tfps, device tbd, is a transportable, training system capable of simulating ground, takeoff, flight, operational, and landing characteristics of the ch-47f under a wide range of realistic environmental conditions; on board aircraft, systems are simulated/stimulated for both normal and emergency operating procedures
