The fan tray consists of 3 independently-operating fans and is the main temperature control component of the switch. The fan tray provides cooling airflow for all ni modules & cmm's. This airflow is a crucial factor in the switch's operability. The fan tray has an onboard connector that plugs into a power connector socket on the chassis
