Back body panel provides coverage to the marine's back; the back body includes soft armor conforming to the ballistic performance outlined in co/pd 00-02g dates 23 feb 2006 sewn into the front and back panels providing a of 1/2 inch extended coverage around the perimeter of teh plate; the back body has 1.5 inch buckles to attach to the front body; the back body utilizes the molle attachment system allowing the marine to affix various molle pockets to their carrier; the back body includes a waist band that attaches to the front body
