Functional Description:
Nrequired to polish 1st stage turbine disk p/n 4085001 to restore disk front outer rim surface for eddy current ins (eci) . Used with the turbine disk installed in pwa71908 fixture mounted on pwa71991 polish machine rotary table with disk forward flange up. Adapter consists of a tool body that connects to a polish machine arm at one end and has a pad holder end for retaining adhesive velcro pads and fine or ultra-fine scotch brite polishing rads.
