(14.1 cm) wide distal end; 9-1/2 in. (24.13 cm) wide proximal end; 32 in. (81.28 cm) length; each splint shall be sealed into an air-tight plastic bag; use in aircraft requires monitoring the splint pressure to prevent neurovascular injury; the aneroid pressure gage of a standard sphygmomanometer should be available for monitoring the splint pressure during ascent and descent
