The compactflash card adapter enables users to read and write to a compactflash card memory card via any pc card slot. Pc card slots use the industry-standard 68-pin interface; whereas, compactflash card uses the 50-pin interface. By inserting the compactflash card memory card into the adapter, the compactflash card becomes a pc card accessable plug and play memory card
