The sdn-l v3b is a semi-rugged commercial off-the-shelf (cots) portable satellite communications (satcom) terminal (s) and modular baseband providing secure and non-secure voice, video and data communications. This configuration provides a multi-user, multi-classification transmission capability and provides tactically deployed users connectivity to the special information environment (sie) via x, ku and ka band satellite transport.
