Scampi media ports provide multiband, multimedia, and worldwide reach-back capabilities from any geo-location via commercial satellites and frequency bands through a s-strategic entry point (ssep), provide interoperability between multiple satcom systems/deployed networks and are the gateway to the s-information enterprise (sie) and support all sdn users. Located within commercial satcom facilities and connect to the sie is through terrestrial commercial circuits that terminate at the sseps.
