1the sight , bore, optical a4 is a 4 power, straight optical aiming device configured to mount on the m16a4 service rifle with the mil-std-1913 rail adapter assembly. It attaches to therail to provide the user a targeting tool to engage distant daylight also nearlow-lit targets with increased certainty. The reticle is ballistically matchd to the m16a4's 5.56 round. A light pipe privides input to the reticle during the day and a tritiium device is used for low light situations to illuminate the reticle. Height=2.38 inches, width=2.08 inches, weight=15.1 oz. Length=5.8 inches, eye relief=1.5 in, eye upil=8mm, waterproof to 66 ft. The optical aiming device is configured to mount on the m16a4 service rifle with the mil-std-1913 rail adapter assembly.
