About this product
Teaches the student taxi-ing, visual take-offs, landings, missed approaches, low-level maneuvers around the airport, and the critical transition between instrument and visual flight conditions. Uses a hoist mounted camera on bedrails in conjunction w/3-dimensional scale model of typical af base and surrounding terrain to simulate acft position. Simulated view is out-the-front window only-no side view. Cockpit displays provided for student and instructor in each of 8 stations - 4 for the t37 complex and 4 for the t38 complex; 2 separate terrain models are provided per complex. Displayed scene can be varied to simulate day, dusk, night and poor visibility conditions

These scenes shall change with and be dictated by real-time progress of the simulated aircraft flight path. Day/dusk/night ambient illumination, landing light illumination and weather effects shall be simulated.
