Flap is secured in the colsed position with 1 inch by 1 and 1/2 inches hook to a 1 and 1/4 inches by 1 and 1/4 inches loop base, which closes towards the rear of the pouch, the flap can be folded forward and secured with 1 inch by 1 and 1/2 inches hook that attaches to a 1 and 1/2 inches by 1 and 3/4 inches loop base, magazine is held in place by an insert, layered with one wrap, molded to fit and secure a single magazine, insert design allows for magazine to face either a right or left, when viewed from above, pouch measures 1 1/2 inch across the face, 5 inch height, and 1 1/2 inch deep, front to back, 9mm 15 round magazine pouch utilizes a single 1 1/2 inch nylon folding flap sewn to the front edge of the pouch, pouch utilizes the pouch attachment latter system (pals) with two 4 inch rear attachment straps, pals incorporates a non corrosive snap socket which fastens into corresponding snap studs located on the back of the pouch
